This is a very early tractor that a friend of mine had collected. It had solid steel back wheels and lugs set into them for work in muddy fields. If you notice the steering wheel is straight up and down. My father had used one of this growing up on his family farm and told me that the only problem with this tractor was every time you hit a hole in the field, you would smash your tooth on the steering wheel. The following model was idendical to this except that the slanted the wheel back. I gave dad a print and he told that story often. Again, I was playing with color in this composition and uniting my chromagraphs together with an interesting photo edge of my own making.
