Gloucester Harbor
Size: 14″ x 11″ matted and backed, 7.5″ x 9.5″ image mat opening print showing, printed with white border on 8.5″ x 11″ Giclee high quality archival paper. Personally printed and signed by artist.
I was in Gloucester, MA, on a vacation and as I was driving through town the drawbridge in front of us went up and we were going to have a wait. The harbor was to my left and I saw this magnificent schooner going out to sea. As I raised my camera my then toddler son decided that the bridge was going up any second and so did my wife. So I needed to make this fast. The schooner cooperated with me by being in a perfect spot and this picture was taken. But as you can see I decided to go into my then early days of digital manipulation and I created this great effect.
