Decay of The Great Hall
Size: 11″ x 14″ matted and backed; Artwork: 7.5″ x 9.5″ image in mat opening. Giclee print on archival paper. Personally printed and signed by artist.
I completed a work that has been in process since last month. The background was always striving to be a building interior in decay. I envisioned a large space, something like a rail station or great hall. It took weeks before I had the visual ingredients for the debris in the foreground. That came from a unique fractal that was constructed like a fluffy headed dandelion. The two gave me the feeling of a long-abandoned space.
