When I had my corporate job I took the Taconic Parkway into Tarrytown and what seemed like forever road crews were repairing a bridge I had to cross over every day. Traffic was always slow and bumper to bumper. One morning I brought my camera and shot the rebar sticking out of the base of the bridge that lined both sides of the road. That rebar makes the background of this piece. The metal structure is various size metal pieces I had found that I constructed into this new form.
